Policy
Our primary mission is to deliver the best and
most comprehensive veterinary care available for your pet. An important part of
the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our
clients as possible by offering several payment options. Berkshire Veterinary
Services requires payment in full at the end of your pet's examination and/or
at the time of discharge.
Payment Options:

- Convenient Monthly Payment Plans from CareCredit® o Once approved, allows you to begin treatment today and pay over time
o Zero percent interest promotional periods available.

Deposit & Billing:
For some treatments or hospitalized care, a deposit may be required. Cases requiring comprehensive care which we estimate may cost more than $500 will require a 20% deposit to begin your pet's treatment. We DO NOT routinely offer in-house payment options. We do recommend clients look into the third party finance programs we are participating in as well as other services available through local financial services. We do charge 1.5% interest per month on all outstanding account balances older than 30 days. If you have an account 90 days past due, Berkshire Veterinary Services may refer your account for your balance owed to a collection agency. Additional Policy Information:
Berkshire Veterinary
Services charges $30 for returned checks. A fee of $50 is charged for clients
who miss or cancel more than 2 appointments in a calendar year without 24 hours
notice. For clients with pet insurance, we are happy to provide you with the
necessary documentation to submit a claim to your insurance carrier.
