ABOUT US...

 

     Beginning in 1991 as Berks County Mobile Veterinary Services, our practice provided house and farm calls as well as consultation services. By visiting the homes of clients and their pets, we were able to offer a more individualized and personal level of service than traditional stationary practices.

 

     Ten years later the practice had expanded and needed its own stationary hospital. A location was found for facilities in Pricetown to provide full service to clients. The first floor of the building was leased and renovated and the practice began traditional office appointments and services to compliment our mobile services.

 

     By 2008, our practice had outgrown its space. A farm located near the leased office was available and purchased.  A year was spent designing, developing, and renovating one of the unused barns on the former pig farm to become our new clinic and hospital. The farm was chosen as our new location as part of our commitment to preserving the rural heritage of the area we service as well for room for future expansion. The new location is now part of our new endeavours as Berkshire Veterinary Services.
